Bino Harness
Chest carry for binoculars, sized to your glass
A magnet lid that opens one-handed with a glove on, and a rain figure from an actual spray rig rather than the word 'weather-resistant'.

The full description
Most binocular harnesses fail on the same detail: the lid. A zip needs two hands and makes a noise at the worst moment; a buckle needs to be found. This one is a magnet closure with a 2.4 kg pull — enough that glass stays put through a stumble, light enough to open with a mitten.
Two sizes, because a 10×42 rattling around inside a case built for a 15×56 is worse than no case. Check the internal opening against your glass before ordering; the numbers are in the spec table for exactly that.
Bought for
Anyone carrying binoculars for more than an hour at a time.
Not for
Glass larger than 15×56, and any binocular with an integrated rangefinder body wider than 78 mm.
Field notes
- 01Set the straps so the case sits just under your collarbone. Lower than that and it swings on a climb.
- 02The side pockets take a rangefinder and a wind checker. Nothing else fits, on purpose.
- 03In sustained rain, run the tether short so the lid closes under its own weight when you drop the glass.
In the box
- Harness with case
- Binocular tether, 2
- Rangefinder tether
- Field Card
