The full description

Anyone who has packed an animal out in a bag pack knows what the inside of that pack looks like afterwards. This liner sits between the meat and everything else: 60 litres of TPU-coated nylon with welded seams, rolled shut at the top.

It fits the Ridge Frame 5200's load shelf and works in any pack with a similar shelf. Two welded and bar-tacked haul loops, load-tested at 45 kg, so it also works as the thing you lift a quarter with when nobody else is there.

Bought for

Pack-outs, and anyone who has had to shampoo a pack.

Not for

Use as a dry bag for gear you care about — it will smell like what it carried.

Field notes

  1. 01Quarters go in bagged, not bare. The liner keeps the pack clean; the game bags keep the meat clean.
  2. 02Roll it twice and clip. One roll leaks in a fall.
  3. 03Wash it at the truck with a jug of water before it goes in a vehicle.
