The full description
Four sticks with a single aider step each get most people to 20 feet on a straight trunk. That is the whole design brief: the fewest sticks that reach hunting height, nested thin enough to carry silently.
6061-T6 aluminium, anodised rather than painted, with certified cam straps supplied. The set is certified to ASTM F2949 with those straps — swapping to aftermarket straps or rope is common and it invalidates the certification, which we would rather you knew.
Bought for
Saddle and platform hunters who set and pull stands the same morning.
Not for
Climbing without a lineman's rope, or use with aftermarket straps — either one puts you outside the certification this set was tested under.
Field notes
- 01Nest them with the steps alternating and strap the stack in two places. One strap lets the stack pivot and knock.
- 02Set each stick with your weight on it before you commit to the next one. Every time.
- 03Wear the lineman's rope from the ground up, not from the first stick up.

- 6061-T6 anodised aluminium standoffs and steps; welded and gusseted step junctions; certified cam straps with coated buckles; sewn single-step aiders in certified webbing; assembly certified to ASTM F2949.
- Care
- Rinse and dry after wet use. Inspect welds and strap stitching before every climb. Retire after any fall event.
