The full description

Standing changes a saddle hunt. A platform gives you a place to put both feet, turn for a shot on the far side of the tree, and take weight off the bridge on a long sit.

Textured aluminium deck rather than adhesive grip tape, because grip tape lifts in a season and the edge that lifts is the one your boot catches. Certified to ASTM F2949 with the supplied strap, rated to 136 kg including gear.

Bought for

Saddle hunters on long sits and anyone who wants to stand for a shot.

Not for

Trunks over 30 inches, and use without a tether. Both are outside what this was tested to.

Field notes

01Hang it from the top stick and tension the strap with your weight already on the lineman's rope.
02Set it slightly nose-down toward the trunk. Level feels right on the ground and wrong at 20 feet.
03It carries flat against the Day Bag 1800's back panel with the two straps in that pack's box.

Construction: 6061-T6 anodised aluminium frame with a textured cast deck; welded and gusseted trunk arms; certified cam strap with a coated buckle; assembly certified to ASTM F2949.
Care: Rinse and dry after wet use. Inspect welds and the strap before every climb.
Warranty: Five years against defect in materials or welds.
